Certificate levels of completion are exit points of less than full competency and are awarded at the discretion of the instructor. The Welding program is designed to give the student the necessary classroom instruction and practical work experience needed for entry-level job performance. Basic practical experience is gained by shop practice, student projects, and certain repair work. Oral, written, and performance tests are given to measure the student's proficiencies. |
